The City of Webster maintains 24.8 acres of developed park land. It is our goal to promote the quality of life in our community through parks that are clean, safe and aesthetically pleasing.

Our largest park, Texas Avenue Park, is approximately 20 acres in size and serves as a gathering place for the regional community during Little League Baseball, Softball Leagues and the largest City-sponsored event, our July Fourth Celebration. Among its many amenities Texas Avenue Park has two pavilions, one of which contains a regulation-sized basketball court. A baseball-themed splash pad provides a spot to cool off during baseball games at the two nearby fields. Additionally, one may choose to walk or jog the 4/10 of a mile decomposed granite track, or take in a game of tennis. All of the facilities are first come-first served; however, the baseball and softball fields may be reserved by contacting the Recreation Division.

Green Acres and Walnut Parks are located in the hearts of our two residential neighborhoods. Green Acres Park contains the City's only swings, as well as a gazebo and playgrounds. The playground for children 2 - 5 years old is composed entirely of recycled plastic jugs. Walnut Park also has a gazebo and playgrounds. Additionally, it boasts a 1/4 mile rubber track.

Saibara Pollinator Garden is located at 902 E. Nasa Parkway  on 0.10 acres and is accessible during the hours of 6a.m. to 11p.m.

Finally, the McWhirter Pocket Park is located in the 400 block of NASA Parkway. Here, one will find a shaded bench in which to sit and relax under the large oak tree. Take a moment to reflect on the men and women who risk their lives in the service of our country with the veterans' memorial located at this park.

To ensure your greatest recreational experience, please report maintenance concerns, follow park rules (PDF), and reserve the baseball/softball fields in advance.
